Donate new socks to Bridgeport Rescue Mission! Deadline is March 21.
Dear Prep Community,It’s that time of year again. No, not spring thaw, maple sugaring nor clean up after the Freshman Retreat. Could it be the mutiple sports playoffs Prep is involved in? No, none of the above although they do happen to be ocurring at this time. It’s the annual sock drive sponsored by the Spanish Honor Society. The Honor Society will again coordinate the collecting of new socks. They should be warm and I repeat new. The folks at the Bridgeport Rescue Mission, the people for whom these warm woolen foot coverings are intended have had a very hard year with the extremely cold weather, boilers breaking down and trucks to deliver hot meals to the homeless completely non- functioning. So if you could be as generous as you have been in the past, warm socks for children, women and men would be greatly appreciated. You can bring them to X202 from now until Friday, March 21. The Spanish Honor Society will deliver them to the Bridgeport Rescue Mission
